Abstract

The article outlines the results of field studies conducted in selected villages in the Bieszczady Mountains. The purpose of the studies was to show the perspective of women in the context of life in the Bieszczady Mountains. The author briefly presents the history of the studied region and the importance of studies relating women in the humanities, and exposes the lack of women’s narratives in the common discourse concerning the area after 1945.
