Abstract

This article explores the impact of new information and communication technologies (NICT) on inclusive education. It highlights how ICT can overcome geographic, economic and physical barriers to learning, thereby enabling all learners, regardless of their special needs or socio-economic background, to access quality education. NICTs offer adaptation and assistance tools for learners with special needs, as well as individualized, flexible and personalized teaching approaches. However, to maximize their benefits in inclusive education, it is necessary to ensure equitable access to technologies and provide adequate training for teachers. How can new information and communication technologies (NICTs) be effectively integrated into the education system to promote the inclusion of students with specific needs, and what are the challenges and opportunities associated with this integration in order to promote equitable access to education for all? Keywords: inclusive education, barriers, learners with special needs, flexible learning, equal opportunities.
