Abstract

Ni0·5Zn0·5Fe2O4@Ni-MOF74 composites were synthesized using sol-gel method and solvothermal method. Ni05Zn0·5Fe2O4@Ni/C porous heterogeneous composites were obtained by carbonization of Ni0·5Zn0·5Fe2O4@Ni-MOF74 in an Ar atmosphere at 600 °C. The generation of the porous structure and the dispersed distribution of nanoscale nickel metal are advantageous for improving the material's dielectric loss capacity. As a result, the composite material's impedance matching is optimized, and the absorption performance is improved. The content of carbon and nanoscale nickel metal can be controlled by the amount of Ni-MOF74 in the composites. At 14.18 GHz, the composite with 30% Ni-MOF74 (wt%) attained an ideal reflection loss of −49.66 dB, at a coating of 1.93 mm and an effective absorption bandwidth of 7.31 GHz, exhibiting excellent microwave absorption performance.
