Abstract

A new metal–organic framework material [Ni(L)(pda)(H2O)2]•2H2O (1) was synthesized by a solvothermal reaction of 3,3′-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)-1,1′-biphenyl (L) and 1,4-Phenylenediacetic acid (H2pda) with Ni(NO3)2·6H2O. Crystal properties were characterized by elemental analysis (ER), infrared spectroscopy (IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and it was found that 1 has excellent thermal and structural stability. Furthermore, through fluorescence luminescence experiments, 1 exhibits excellent recognition performance for antibiotics, Fe3+, Cr(Ⅵ) and acetone molecules, which has potential application value.
