Abstract

In this article, a modification is suggested for an original Hamad model to become completely adequate to bulk ferromagnetic materials such as maraging steel. A verification of hysteretic loops modeling was carried out, showing a good agreement between simulated and experimental curves of Ni–Co–Mo–Ti maraging steel hysteretic loops. Predicted hysteresis loss energy was estimated as a result of this model. It is showed that the dipping in liquid nitrogen and solution treating affect hysteresis energy loss of Ni–Co–Mo–Ti maraging steel.
