Abstract

NHS England plans to review all personal medical services (PMS) GP contracts in 2013-14 to “identify ways of improving value for money for the future.” The aims of the review are to establish equitable “core” funding between general practices on PMS contracts and those on general medical services (GMS) contracts and to ensure value for money from investment in non-core “enhanced” services.
