Abstract

Combining the nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) with organic molecule oxidation could reduce the overall energy consumption and improve resource utilization. In this issue of Chem Catalysis, the Shi group has designed a novel nitrogen-methanol co-electrolysis system by coupling the NRR with methanol reaction oxidation (MOR).
