Abstract

People's living standards and quality of life are important criteria in ssessing the level of human development in countries, regions and territories, especially since 1990, the United Nations has affirmed that "Humans are the center of development”, therefore raising living standards towards sustainability is a core task in socio-economic development strategies. According to an integrated approach, the article assesses the status of living standards of people in Binh Dinh province in 9 criteria belonging to economy, education - training, health and health care, and related living conditions. By the method of the rating scale, the results show that the living standard of people in Binh Dinh province is clearly differentiated into 5 groups, among which Quy Nhon city belongs to group 5 - the highest standard of living, An Lao district has the lowest standard of living - belongs to group 1. The evaluation results are the basis for the locality to implement groups of solutions in economic development and improvement of people's living standards in Binh Dinh province in general and in districts in particular in the upcoming time.
