Abstract

By using the piston theory to study on flutter of laminated plates in supersonic airflow, the study authors established the system of differential equations based on the quasi-3D shear deformation theory. Comparing present study with the results of other studies to verify the accuracy of present work. Flutter analyses were performed for various parameters to study the influences of the dynamic pressure, the stacking sequence of layers on the results. Based on result, select the reasonable stacking sequence of layers.
