Abstract
Culturas tan aparentemente lejanas como el Barroco y el mundo mediático contemporá- neo presentan multitud de nexos, circunstancias y manifestaciones en común. A través del arquetípico personaje barroco Miguel Mañara pretendemos justificar estos paralelismos, atendiendo a su produc- ción cultural y artística en pleno siglo XVII, y a sus valores transversales que lo llevan a estar presente en las medios de masas actuales.
