Abstract
The study aims to examine the parliamentary campaign discourse of politicians of PiS(Prawo i Sprawiedliwość, lit. Law and Justice), the main right-wing Polish party, witha view to determining whether their language displays some similarities with PolishNewspeak used in the era of Communism. The research corpus consists of public statementsof the most important PiS politicians delivered in the election campaign from Juneto October 2019. The research material comes from a plethora of online media sources, especially records of PiS conventions and from online newspapers. The selected textsunderwent close scrutiny and stylistic analysis. This allowed for determining the patternsof Newspeak employed in this right-wing party parliamentary campaign.
