Abstract

Nurses and other care staff use gossip ‘to let off steam and cope with the stresses of work’, according to a study presented at the RCN Research Society conference. The findings were presented by Kathryn Waddington, Head of the Department of Applied Psychosocial Sciences at City University in London.
