As reported in the President’s Page of the March/April issue of the Canadian Respiratory Journal, the Canadian Thoracic Society (CTS) Executive has been engaged in a governance review process under the leadership of the CTS Long-Term Planning (LTP) Committee. The Executive and LTP Committees have examined key governance issues and worked to develop a governance model that would be fully aligned with the CTS Strategic Plan, reflect best practices in governance and create new opportunities for member engagement. Our work has culminated in the development of a governance model, including an organizational chart (Figure 1) that I am very pleased to present to you in the current issue of the Canadian Respiratory Journal
