Abstract
In this issue of News from the SIGs, we welcome the newly elected chair of SIGCSE, Amber Settle. Amber is the Vincent de Paul Associate Professor of Computer Science at DePaul University. Previous to being elected SIGCSE Chair, she served six years on the SIGCSE Board, including three as Treasurer. Amber discusses some issues currently facing the SIGCSE Board. We also have a report from Steve Zilora, our continuing SIGITE reporter and SIGITE chair, discussing the latest SIGITE/RIIT conference and encouraging more submissions to RIIT.
