Abstract

In June 2004, the Spallation Neutron Source staff relocated to the Central Laboratory &Office (CLO) Building at the construction site on Chestnut Ridge at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The CLO contains 23,000 m2 of space for more than 400 staff and users. In addition to office space, the CLO will contain large shop areas, conference and training rooms, a receiving department, the central control room, and large spaces for laboratories-all dedicated to the scientific mission of the SNS. Complete occupancy will occur in fall 2004.
