Abstract

<h3>Seminar on Leprosy.—</h3> The US Public Health Service will conduct a special seminar on leprosy for all interested pathologists and for dermopathologists in the federal service. The seminar will be held May 1-3, 1968, at the US Public Health Service Hospital, Carville, La. Because of the many unique factors of this disease and its considerable impact in areas of the world where it is endemic, the seminar will offer an opportunity to gain broader insight into leprosy. The program will emphasize not only the histopathology of leprosy, but also its clinical and rehabilitative aspects. Didactic as well as practical microscopic experience will be given. An expert guest faculty is being assembled by the seminar's general chairman, Dr. Richard E. Mansfield, Chief, Laboratory Branch at Carville, together with specialists in the Training Branch and others on the hospital staff. Among the members of the Guest Faculty will be: Dr. Chapman H.
