Abstract

Professor G. R. Sipe resigned his position at the Mississippi State College, effective February 1, 1943, to operate his plantation located at Castalia, North Carolina. In addition to cotton and tobacco, he plans on commercial egg and turkey production.Dr. Homer Patrick (B.S., University of Missouri, 1939; M.A., University of Missouri, 1940; Ph.D., The Pennsylvania State College, 1942) became assistant poultryman at the South Carolina Agricultural Experiment Station, Clemson, South Carolina, effective January 1, 1943. This appointment filled the position vacated by Dr. Ringrose when he moved to the University of New Hampshire.Within the next few months a subject matter index of the first twenty volumes of Poultry Science will be published, either as a separate, or a part of one of the regular issues. In case it is published as a separate issue, all members and subscribers to Poultry Science will receive a copy and additional copies will .
