Abstract
Adolescent Medicine: The first annual meeting of the Society for Adolescent Medicine was held in Washington, D.C., on March 2, 1969, in conjunction with a 2-day Adolescent Medicine Seminar sponsored by the Children's Hospital of the District of Columbia and the George Washington University Medical Center. The guest speaker was Dr. Yirina Cizkova, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Charles, Prague. Dr. Felix Heald, Professor of Pediatrics, Washington University Medical Center and Pediatrician-in-Chief of the Children's Hospital of the District of Columbia, presided at the Seminar, which was directed to a variety of endocrinological aspects of adolescence.
