Abstract

Field experiments conducted at the Entomology Research Farm, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya during 2015 and 2016 to evaluate some newer insecticides against major insect pests of tomato revealed that the lowest leaf infestation caused by leaf miner was recorded in cypermethrin (17.83%) followed by azadirachtin (18.80%). Flubendiamide recorded minimum fruit damage (10.80%) followed by mix formulation of novaluron + indoxacarb (11.52%) with 76.55 and 73.95 q ha−1 fruit yield, respectively.
