Abstract
Canal system and its effect on economy of State and Nation as whole are analyzed; total mileage of Canal system is 527 mi with 151 mi of artificial land cut channels and 376 mi of canalized rivers, lakes and streams; river locks, gates and bridge type movable dams are described.
