Abstract
Results from a year‐long pilot program to reshape behavioral health crisis response in Albany County, New York, are making a compelling case for expanding the initiative across the county. The pilot's location in a rural section of the county also has helped demonstrate a substantial unmet need for mental health services in remote communities.
