Abstract

The reaction of a bispropargyl bromide enediyne with several bis-NH-sulfonamide nucleophiles permits the easy synthe- sis of 14- and 19-membered macrocyclic enediynes. The new nitro- gen-containing unsaturated macrocycles are fully characterized. The thermal reactivity of the new cyclic enediyne derivatives is in- vestigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
