Abstract

Parabens are a group of chemical preservatives that are widely used in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Although some studies have raised concerns about potential health risks associated with parabens, it is important to note that the presence of parabens in tumor tissue does not provide conclusive evidence that parabens cause cancer. This is an area that requires further research. For this purpose, six new mono- and dispirocyclotriphosphazene compounds decorated with paraben were synthesized and designed for the first time. Their structures were identified by MALDI-TOF MS, 1H, 31P NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. Moreover, the molecular structure of Compound 8 was determined by X-Ray crystallography. The DNA interaction properties of the targeted molecules were investigated via agarose gel electrophoresis.
