Abstract

An SFQ-dc converter has been designed and fabricated for use in oxide RSFQ circuits. The SFQ-dc converter comprised a stack of SQUIDs, Josephson transmission line (JTL) for a set signal, and current-injection line for a reset signal. The SFQ-dc converter of this type was found to have wide operation region with respect to the junction critical current. The SFQ-dc converter was fabricated by the ramp-edge junction technology and could be successfully operated with the output voltage as much as 0.5 mV.
