Abstract

The analysis in this article is based on the new trends in the system of cultural education in the context of students’ ideological training. Based on the materials of the International Scientific Conference within the framework of the XVIII Kolosnitsyn Readings, organized and conducted by the Department of Cultural Studies and Socio-Cultural Activities together with the Russian Cultural Society on November 17, 2023, the author reflects on the realities and prospects of humanitarian education. An obvious fact in the scientific discussion that took place is not only interdisciplinarity as the basis of modern cultural education, but also the emergence of new concepts and trends in its structure in the context of the challenges of the XXI century, which contributes to the activation of its axeological, aesthetic and ideological functions.
