Abstract
A flexible coupling designed to ensure physical flexibility of electric centrifugal pumping units, which makes it possible to run-in (lower) and operate the unit at an angle of up to 5° between the shafts, has been developed, made, and tested. It has been established that the flexible coupling reduces vibration and increases delivery. Bench and industrial tests have demonstrated the effectiveness of use of the flexible coupling.
