Abstract
This article discusses the main approaches being taken at metallurgical plants to increase the efficiency and productivity of rolling mills, improve the accuracy and quality of the finished products, and increase output. It is shown that a lack of adequate investment in rolling-mill technology in Ukraine is causing that nation to fall behind foreign countries and CIS nations in the production of rolled sections and wire rod.
