Abstract

Various Doppler-ultrasound methods have been established for the evaluation of both extracranial and intracranial vascular diseases. The validity of the presently used techniques and new aspects of work in progress are demonstrated and discussed in detail because of the increasing clinical interest in detailed vascular information for prospective follow-up investigation.
