Abstract
Abstract A new, general, one-step method for the synthesis of fluorine-containing thiols is reported. It consists of the reduction of the corresponding sulfenyl chlorides by an excess of hydrogen sulfide in an autoclave at room temperature. The method is notable for the simplicity of execution, the easiness of isolation of the final products in individual state, the absence of by-products, and the high yields.
