Abstract
We find a new statistical frustration offset for a dilute anyon gas in the lowest Landau level through the calculation of the virial coefficients, from which the ground state energy is derived. It happens due to the fact that the anyonic vertex plays a crucial role in the presence of a strong magnetic field and thus materializes in virial coefficients and ground state energy.
