Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the stability criteria for linear systems with interval time-varying delay. By constructing novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKF) based on delay partitioning idea and delay-central point method, new less conservative stability criteria are provided in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Tighter integral inequalities are used to bound the cross-terms that arise from the time derivative of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals to obtain much less conservative result. A given numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the presented methods.
