Abstract
Seoul and Santa Clara Chapters Host Talks by S. Kang, M. Pedram, and M. Horowitz Wilhelmus Van Noije of the Polytechnical School, University of Sao Paulo spearheaded the formation of a new SSCS Chapter in South Brazil. Another new chapter in southern Taiwan was founded by Chua-Chin Wang of National Sun Yat-Sen University in Kaohsiung. SSCS Distinguished Lecturer Steve Kang spoke at Korea University in August on "Bioelectronics, Its Status and Prospectus"; DL Massoud Pedram spoke in October at COEX, Seoul on "Charge-recycling MTCMOS: Circuit Techniques and Design Automation Algorithms." Mark Horowitz addressed the Santa Clara chapter in March on "Rethinking Analog: Digitally Driven Analog Design."
