Abstract
This study reports five sponge species (Crambe crambe, Halichondria (Halichondria) bowerbanki, Dysidea incrustans, Dysidea fragilis, and Aplysilla sulfurea) collected from mussel beds (Mytilus galloprovincialis) at one locality along the Black Sea coast of Türkiye (off the coast of Bart ın Province) in June 2018. Among these species, C. crambe and A. sulfurea are new records for the Black Sea fauna, while H (H.) bowerbanki is new to the marine fauna of Türkiye. The morphological and distributional features of the species are given.
