Abstract

In the13CH+isotopic ion radical emission spectra of six bands of theA1Π–X1Σ+system have been obtained using a Geissler-type discharge tube. The spectra have been photographed at high resolution and Th standard lines have been used as a calibration spectrum. The 1–1 band has been observed and analyzed for the first time. By means of a direct fit and the merged calculus, the following improved molecular constants for both electronic states have been computed: for theA1Π state,Bv,Dv,Hv,qv,qDv, and for theX1Σ+state,Bv,Dv,Hv, and theTA−X, value as well as the equilibrium constants for theX1Σ+andA1Π states.
