They include three new species, Coccomyces ellipticus and Coccomyces illicii on dead leaves of Aucuba japonica and Illicium anisatum, respectively, and Discocainia nervalis on leaf vein of an unknown angiosperm host, and a new combination, Terriera mangiferae on Aucuba japonica; as well as two new records for Japan, Coccomyces delta on Neolitsea sericea and Coccomyces sinensis on Camellia japonica.
