Sixteen species of lichens and lichenicolous fungi from the Seychelles are described as new: Abrothallus ramalinae (on Ramalina), Coenogonium beaverae, Fissurina seychellensis, Fulvophyton macrosporum, Graphis lindsayana, Nigrovothelium inspersotropicum, Opegrapha salmonea, Porina morelii, Pseudopyrenula media, Ramichloridium tropicum (on sterile lichen with Trentepohlia), Sarcographa praslinensis, S. subglobosa, Stictographa dirinariicola (on Dirinaria picta), Stirtonia epiphylla, Talpapellis mahensis (on sterile lichen with Trentepohlia) and Trimmatothele petri; Abrothallus ramalinae is also reported from Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, and Nigrovothelium inspersotropicum from Guyana.
