Abstract
This article discusses new multiword lexemes from a lexicographic perspective. The synthesis of studies on multiword lexemes to date and the analysis of the stability and semantic transparency of multiword headwords based on linguistic theory and a corpus analysis of the material serve as the premise for an experimental typology of multiword dictionary headwords from the list of headwords in the Slovar novejšega besedja slovenskega knjižnega jezika (Dictionary of New Standard Slovenian Vocabulary). It highlights the issues of including multiword lexemes in the dictionary and discusses the issue of dictionary definitions and the accentuation of components of multiword lexemes.
