Abstract
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) conducted its fifth site surveyor class January 12–14, 2007, in Denver. Eighteen medical transport professionals were selected from the 30 applicants interviewed during the fall of 2006. Potential site surveyors are selected by the Site Surveyor Selection Committee based on their level of experience and interview style and on CAMTS' needs at the time. Although we currently had 43 active site surveyors, we needed more with aviation and fixed-wing backgrounds.
