Abstract
The 2023–2026 Strategic Plan for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) focuses reducing suicides. There is a stress on mental health, especially among the workforce, and a general reference to “behavioral” health care, which of course includes both mental health and addiction. The plan also includes a focus on reducing opioid overdoses.
