Abstract

Silica pillared γ-structure zirconium phosphate (γ-ZrP) was solvothermally prepared in a ZrO 2-P 2O 5-APTEOS (H 2N(CH 2) 3Si(OC 2H 5) 3)–EA (C 2H 5OH) system. The effects of solvent, P 2O 5/ZrO 2, APTEOS/ZrO 2 ratios and reaction temperature on the product were intensively investigated. XRD, thermal analysis, MAS NMR and IR techniques were used to monitor the change of the product with the increasing of calcining temperature. N 2 adsorption–desorption test gave a BET surface area of 59 m 2 g −1 for the calcined sample.
