Abstract

This paper considers the robust asymptotic stability problem of uncertain neural networks with time-varying discrete and distributed delays. By using Lyapunov functional method and by noticing that the useful terms are reserved when estimating the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional, the novel stability and robust stability criteria are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservativeness of the proposed method.
