Abstract

Seven taxa of wood rotting corticioid fungi i.e. Athelia neuhoffii, Ceraceomyces sublaevis var. grandispoms , Dendrothele minima , Hyphodontia rimosissima , Phanerochaete galactites , P. xemphila , Phlebia ochraceofulva are described and illustrated based on the specimens collected from different tree species of Union Territory of Chandigarh. All these are new reports for the study area. It is important to mention here that Athelia neuhoffii and Dendrothele minima are described for the first time from India.
