Abstract

AbstractThis annotated bibliography is designed for teachers of classes about new religious movements, sometimes called cults. It suggests additional readings, studies of specific movements, how to use primary source materials, studies of the wider cultural context, miscellaneous edited collections, and general reference works. The aim is to identify a few publications that can be valuable for preparing lectures or for writing term papers, including classic social science and reliable descriptive studies of particular new religions.
