Abstract

New relations which connect cross sections with neutral current parameters have been obtained in deep inelastic and (quasi-)elasticv(−)N-,e±(μ±)N-scattering; the relations are independent of the structure functions and formfactors of the nucleon. A known example is the Paschos-Wolfenstein relation inv(−)N-scattering. The relations have been obtained with allowance for the contribution of the extraZ′-boson which makes it possible to use them both for extractions of the Standard Model parameters (ρ, sin2θw) and for the search for some manifestations of new physics.
