Abstract

-TWO new records of the extinct elk-moose Cervalces scotti are reported from Ohio. The addition of the posterior portion of a skull and an antler beam brings the total number of specimens known from the state to six from five localities. Distribution of Cervalces in Ohio seems to be associated with spruce forests present in the region in the late Pleistocene.
