Abstract

Several new records for 22 taxa of moth flies from Italy are presented. Among them, Clytocerus (Boreoclytocerus) dalii (Eaton, 1893) and Pericoma (Pericoma) pannonica Szabó, 1960 are new to the Italian fauna. The other taxa represent new regional records, chiefly from central Apennine. Distribution of each species is provided, together with ecological and taxonomic remarks, where relevant. The name pseudoexquisita Tonnoir, 1940, in Pericoma Walker, 1856, is found to be an incorrect subsequent spelling, hence unavailable. The correct original spelling is pseudexquisita Tonnoir, 1940.
