Abstract
Basidiomata of Melanoleuca cinereifolia have been collected underneath Pinus wallichiana trees in Himalayan moist temperate forests of Pakistan. Its identification was confirmed by nrDNA ITS sequence analysis. A detailed morphological description and illustrations are provided. This is the first report of M. cinereifolia from Asia.
