view Abstract Citations (33) References (41) Co-Reads Similar Papers Volume Content Graphics Metrics Export Citation NASA/ADS New Proper Motions in the Globular Cluster M92 Rees, Richard F., Jr. Abstract New photometry, proper motions, and membership probabilities have been obtained for 365 stars in the region of the globular cluster M92. The accuracies of the proper motions greatly surpass those of previous studies. Strong evidence of systematic problems in previous photographic photometry is presented. A preliminary astrometric distance of 8.3 +/- 1.6 kpc is found, consistent with other distance determinations.
