Abstract

In the course of naming the residue of the large collection of Thai plants made by A. F. G. Kerr and his associates, a number of new records for Thailand have come to light. These are now presented with the hope that they may be of use to future workers on the flora of Thailand. Although the naming of material from most of the families has now been completed, and the duplicates distributed, that of a few families remains outstanding. The most important of these are Annonaceae, Myrtaceae, Lauraceae and Palmae. New records of Euphorbiaceae, including newly described genera and species, have been published by Mr. H. K. Airy Shaw in recent volumes of Kew Bulletin. Further new records in this family will be included by Mr. Airy Shaw in a forthcoming enumeration of Thai Euphorbiaceae. The naming of specimens of the following families was carried out by Mr. A. R. Smith :-Burseraceae, Aquifoliaceae, Rhamnaceae, Vitaceae, Staphyleaceae and Anacardiaceae.
