Abstract

In the article ‘New phylotypes of mesophilic filamentous anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria enriched from sulfide-containing environments’ (Bañeras et al., 2009), the following error was published on page 91, under ‘Nucleotide sequence accession numbers’ (Results): The 16S rRNA gene sequences of enriched morphotypes and environmental samples have been deposited in GenBank under Accession Nos EU918759 through EU918586 and EU918587 through EU918602 respectively. The text was incorrect and should have read: The 16S rRNA gene sequences of enriched morphotypes and environmental samples have been deposited in GenBank under Accession Nos EU918579 through EU918586 and EU918587 through EU918602 respectively.
